During the week we will travel through some of Scotland’s most enviable countryside, visit places of interest such as the city of Inverness, take in the Highlands most desirable locations such as Loch Ness and have a scenic tour of Highland Perthshire. We will stop in the Highlands most iconic towns and spend time soaking up it’s splendour.
Activities will be a plenty with a private River Cruise on Loch Ness, optional Clay Pigeon Shooting on a Scottish Estate, Whiskey tasting at a traditional Scottish distillery and a 4×4 tour over the rugged terrain.
You will have free time to explore yourselves, where you can walk the trails, see the beauty, the wildlife, that the Highlands has to offer.

During our stay at The Fife Arms we will reside in their very luxurious and ornate Scottish Culture Room. The Room is curated to showcase the connections with literature and astronomy to engineering and exploration, a nod to the leading Scottish figures in fields such as the Arts & Science.
The decoration, paneled double bed and fittings all add to the allure of this beautifully appointed room.

The Drawing Room
After a day of exploring you can come in and rest in the Drawing Room to regale on the day’s activities and exploration. A room dedicated to the Scottish culture with it’s tartan print and fabulous Artwork. Usually a roaring fire awaits in the colder months.
We will stay in the very ornate Suite that exudes a grand luxurious feel. Located on the first floor they offer stunning views out on to the tranquil loch and rugged mountain.
Complete with all the amenities that you would expect from such a room. After a day of being outdoors it provides a perfect regal haven to relax.
Seasgair Restaurant
A true highlight of your stay at Inverlochy Castle, the formal Seasgair restaurant that is overseen by Michelin starred Chef Michael Roux Jr. Here you will dine on a sublime 5 Couse Tasting menu that will showcase artfully produced dishes that feature produce from the locality.
The estate room is a true traditional Scottish room that encapsulates the calming and relaxed aura of the beautiful surrounds.
The room is characturful and has lovely scenic views through it’s large bay window.
Private Dining
You will dine in their Study, their private dining space, on an a la carte menu. The room is stylishly presented but playful and whilst dining you can view the fascinating Artwork from the Royal Society for Arts.
The Deluxe Castle View Room is dressed to showcase the heritage and culture of Scotland with it’s traditional tartan prints. Located in an enviable position in the hotel, it overlooks the pretty Princes Street Gardens with views on to the Castle and Scott Monument.
Dining
The Balmoral has a wonderful choice of restaurants from a more casual brasserie to fine dining experiences. There is their Brasserie Prince that offers ‘the very best of Scottish produce with classic French cooking’ to their more formal Number One restaurant ‘where modern Scottish cuisine meets world-class service’.
This morning we will begin with a visit to the highly scenic Glencoe. You will be able to walk through the glens of this Highlands landscape to gain a true appreciation of it’s beauty. The trail is considered a less strenuous one.
Afterwards we will head off to a quaint little lunch stop to refuel before our afternoon activity.
The afternoon will be spent in the village of Dalwhinnie where you will have a insightful whiskey tour of the Dalwhinnie distillery whilst sampling the whiskey directly from the cask.
We will visit the idyllic village of Dunkeld that sits on the banks of the River Tay. You will have time to take in the sights such as the Cathedral that features the tomb of the notorious ‘Wolf of Badenoch’. There are specialist shops to browse and you can gaze over the views of Thomas Telford’s Dunkeld Bridge.
Afterwards we will travel onto Aberfeldy, made famous by the Scottish poet Robert Burns. There is the heritage exhibition to take in and you can enjoy the Aberfeldy watermill which features a bookshop, cafe and gallery. We will take lunch at a lovely Tearooms that is set in the most picture postcard setting.
We will continue on to a Tartan & Kilt maker where you will be given a highly interesting talk about the heritage of the Scottish Kilt and have a demonstration of the process of how these iconic items are made.
This evening we will check into the Cromlix hotel for the night.
Our first stop will be the very historic Scone Palace where you will be walking in the footsteps of Scotland’s founding fathers. It has been the seat of parliments, the Crowning Place of Scottish Kings including Macbeth, Robert The Bruce and housed the Stone of Scone.
We will then head onto the historic coastal town of St Andrews where you will have time for lunch. Set in an enviable position overlooking the sea there is plenty to see & do. Our guide will meet us and will take you on a fascinating walking tour where you will take in the beautiful architecture, the landmarks, famous university and of course the iconic Golf Course.
The opulent Balmoral Hotel, Edinburgh will be our hotel for the next 2 nights.
